Information Collection and How It Is Used:
Myseafood will send you a welcome email when you sign up for Myseafood’s services or contests. Myseafood will send you service announcements on occasions when it is necessary to do so. You may not opt-out of service-related communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to unsubscribe your email by emailing [email protected] from the email address you signed up with.
Myseafood may periodically email you with marketing communications including promotional offers. Myseafood will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. Your information may be combined with information Myseafood collects from others and used to improve and personalize services, contents and advertising. If you don’t wish to receive marketing communications or participate in these programs, simply opt-out by emailing [email protected]
If you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from us, you may opt-out by emailing [email protected] Please note that even if you do not wish to receive marketing communications from us, those notices may still govern your use of the Site and Services, and you are responsible for reviewing such notices for changes.
Myseafood users are offered subscriptions to Myseafood email newsletters. Your email address will be used for this feature. You may change your subscription or unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained in the email.
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a website’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive. You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. If you reject all cookies, you may not be able to take full advantage of the Myseafood services or contents. Myseafood uses its own cookies for a number of purposes, including to: access your information when you “sign in”; keep cookie of preferences you specify while you are using Myseafood’s services; display local product offerings; estimate and report Myseafood’s total audience size and traffic; conduct research to improve Myseafood’s content and services. Myseafood cookies do not collect personal information, and Myseafood does not combine information collected through cookies with other personal information to tell us who you are or what your email address is.

Personal Information We Collect (and Why):
This is the personal data that is provided by you or collected by us to enable you to sign up for and use the Myseafood services. This may include your name and email address.
This is the personal data that is collected about you when you’re accessing and/or using the Site or the Services, including information about your interactions with the Myseafood’s Site and/or Services such as your search queries (including the date and time of any requests you make), purchase history, and your product browsing history. It can also be inferences drawn about your interests and preferences based on your usage of the Myseafood service.
Certain technical data
The technical data may include:
online identifiers including cookie data and IP addresses;
information about the types of devices you are using such as network connection type (e.g. wifi, 3G, LTE), provider, network and device performance, browser type, language, and operating system;
your non-precise location, which may be derived or inferred from certain technical data (e.g., your IP address, language setting of your device, or payment currency), to deliver personalized content and advertising to you.
Payment and Purchase Data
We may collect certain personal data if you make a purchase through the Myseafood service or email. The exact personal data collected will vary depending on the payment method (e.g. credit card or PayPal) but will include information such as:
Date of birth;
Credit or debit card type, expiration date, and certain digits of your card number;
Mobile phone number; and
Details of your purchase and payment history.
Technical Service Partners:
We work with technical service partners that provide us with certain data, such as mapping IP addresses to non-precise location data (e.g., city, state), to enable us to provide the Myseafood service, content, and features.
If you choose to pay for a service or feature by invoice, we may receive data from our payment partners to enable us to send you invoices, process your payment and provide you with what you’ve purchased.
Advertisers and Other Advertising Partners:
We may obtain certain data about you, such as cookie ID, mobile device ID, or email address, and inferences about your interests and preferences from certain advertisers and advertising partners that allow us to deliver more relevant ads and measure their effectiveness. Please note that if you choose to opt out, you will continue to see ads, but they will not be based on your online activity. We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can also opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the NAI on its website.
What We Use Your Personal Information For:
To provide and personalize the Myseafood Service.
To understand, diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix issues for the Myseafood Site and/or Services.
To evaluate and develop new features, technologies, and improvements to the Myseafood Service.
To comply with legal obligations and law enforcement requests.
To conduct business planning, reporting, and forecasting.
To process your payment.
To detect fraud, including fraudulent payments and fraudulent use of the Myseafood service.
To conduct research, contests, surveys, and sweepstakes.
Requesting, Editing, and Deleting Personal Information:
Myseafood limits access to personal information about you to employees who Myseafood believes reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.

Do Not Track:
Some web browsers permit you to broadcast a signal to websites and online services indicating a preference that they “do not track” your online activities. At this time, we do not honor such signals, but we currently do not use automated data collection technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third party websites or other online services (behavioral advertising).
The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) for registration Myseafood encrypts that information using Transport Layer Security technology (TLS). Myseafood follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and upon receipt by Myseafood. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while Myseafood strives to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, Myseafood cannot guarantee its absolute security. California Privacy Rights for California Residents:
Under some circumstances, California law may provide you with the right to obtain a list of third parties (if any) that we provide your personal information to for their own direct marketing purposes.

Personal information does not include information that is: (a) publicly available information from government records; (b) de-identified or aggregated consumer information; or (c) certain information excluded from the scope of CCPA (e.g., PHI covered under HIPAA and medical information covered under the California Medical Information Act).

Myseafood may disclose your personal information to a third party for one or more business purposes. When we disclose personal information for a business purpose, such as to service providers, we enter a contract that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to both keep that personal information confidential and not use it for any purpose except performing the contract.

We may disclose your personal information for our business purposes, such as your contact information, other information you have provided to us and unique identifiers that identify you to us or to our service providers, such as companies that assist us with marketing and advertising.
Access Request Rights
California residence have the right to request that Myseafood discloses certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months for the above business and commercial purposes. To submit an access request, see Exercising Access and Deletion Rights. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will disclose to you:
- The categories of personal information we collected about you.
- The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.
- Our business or commercial purpose for collecting that personal information.
- The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.
- The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
- If we sold or disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, two separate lists disclosing:
- sales, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient purchased; and
- disclosures for a business purpose, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient obtained.
Deletion Request Rights
California residents have the right to request that Myseafood delete your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless certain exceptions apply.
Exercising Access and Deletion Rights
To exercise the access and deletion rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by either:

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. - Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not:
- Deny you goods or services.
- Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
- Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
- Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

If applicable, this information would include the categories of personal information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared your personal information with for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g. requests made in 2020 will receive information regarding such activities in 2019).
